Wisconsin native spots albino buck in snow-covered woods
Just days before hunting season with the use of a gun is set to begin in the state of Wisconsin, a man native to the state spotted an incredible creature in the snow-covered woods. On Thursday, Tracy Weese captured a “majestic” albino buck in a photo on his camera. Weese found the deer surrounded by snowy trees and foliage in Wisconsin’s Boulder Junction area.
The photo, which has started to become viral across numerous Internet platforms, was shared by the Vilas County Sheriff’s Office on its Facebook page.
“An incredible sight to see here in Vilas County, a beautiful albino buck! This majestic creature was spotted in the greater Boulder Junction area,” the law enforcement agency wrote on Facebook.
Even though the deer was coincidentally spotted days ahead of opening day, all-white and albino deer are protected in the state of Wisconsin and cannot be hunted legally. For more hunting and fishing news, click here.
