The Prairiland Patriots kept their playoff hopes alive with an impressive performance in their senior night game. On Friday night, the Patriots honored seniors Blake Ballard, Ryan Butler, Brylee Galloway, Jeremiah Harrison, and Eli Rolen while defeating the visiting Lone Oak Buffaloes by a final score of 64-50.
The Patriots’ press defense was working well early and often as the home team built a 34-16 lead at the break. Prairiland was able to protect the lead throughout the second half with a balanced scoring attack and strong team defense at all three levels.

Galloway also chipped in with 6 points while Gage Bankhead, Caleb Jameson, and Braydan Nichols shored up the perimeter defense.
With the victory, Prairiland (13-8, 4-5) ensured itself a winning season for the fourth time in the last five seasons under the direction of head coach Steven Weddle. The Patriots will take the court again at 6:15 p.m. tonight at Commerce. For more sports coverage, click here.
