Paris Wildcats boy’s and girl’s golf teams take Championship titles during two-day event

The Paris ISD Wildcats golf team recently competed in a two-day event at the Paris Golf and Country Club, with both their boy’s and girl’s teams being named District Champions.

Both teams also won 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place individual. The boys had a two-day team total of 640. Pittsburg was runner-up with a 745. 

Mason Napier was 1st place individual with 76/71-147. Tate Lewis finished 2nd with 76/73-149, and Tyler Harvey 3rd with 74/78-152.

The girls won 1st place with a two-day total of 912. Pittsburg was 2nd with 1031. Angelina Ibarra was 1st place individual with a 117/107-224, Madeline Green finished 2nd with 113/114-233, and Lilly Lewis was 3rd with 113/120-233.

Making 1st team all-district boys for Paris were Mason Napier, Tate Lewis, and Tyler Harvey. Adam Clement made 2nd team all-district.

1st team all-district girls were Angeline Ibarra, Madeline Green, Lilly Lewis, and Emma Homer. Ava Tidwell was 2nd team.
